In this novel I read about two young children named gearld and angel. One day when gearlds mother left him at home alone he started to play with the lighter to find the ''fire dancer''. Soon the apartment that gearld was living in started to burn down. The teen next door came and see what was the smell that was coming out of the apartment.Also in this book i read about how the little girl angel would get abused by her stepfather and he would try to play games that she didnt like such as the''touchy feely'' game.Gearld's mother would always leave them home alone she always say that she will come back but she never does gearld and his little sister angel always stayed up waiting for her but she never returns back.I would recommend this book to other nineth graders, because its a good book and it can teach you alot about children your age and what could happen to you if you were in the situation that they were in.I think that most teens would learn alot by reading this and know what's ahead of them in life.

We are here at the apartment of monique nickelby her son has had an accident this afternoon. We are still investigating what happened to him and how the fire started.He was found in the apartment alone siiting behind the couch with his head down. Soon the teenager next door, figured something wasnt right so he went to check on gearld to see where he was and what he was doing. He started to smell smoke coming from the apartment so he ran in to see what was the smell. The boy next door then realized that the apartment was on fire, because gearld was playing with the lighter to see what the fire dancer was. So the police soon came and gearld had to go to the hospital until his mother got there or his aunt because he was left at home alone.

8.How To Writing

Families go to counselors to tell their problems to if they need help with anything or feeling bad about something, that happened in their life. If it is still helping they continue to go back so they want be holding back the same pain they had before thwy went. Most families try not to think about it but they can't because they haven't talk to anyone about what happened to them.

In the book it doesn't talk about jordan having any friends. I think it doesn't tlk about him having friend, becaus he doesn't have any. I dont think he has friends because he's mean and hateful. Jordan drinks alot and is very abusive towards his family.

Angel was sick one day and needed somone to stay with her. Her mother told me to stay since i didnt have to go anywhere. When everybody left i decided to go in angels room while she was sleep. I was thinking that i should play the "touchy feely game" with her. I felt like she was going to tell the police or her brother. I was thinking to myself that "this is really a beautiful angel i have here.Then as the day went on I started to get happy beacause I was home with her alone.

Why do children think suicide is the only option? Suicide does NOT fix things. In fact it only makes things worse for those who have to now deal with your actions. Many times teens commit suicide because they suffer from depression. Depression can be caused internally by a chemical imbalance. With this form of depression, the teen may feel depressed for no known reason. A second reason teens commit suicide is because of their life situation. They may be the victim of bullying or abuse. These types of situation can cause someone to feel depressed.

The story behind my topic

I choose this topic,because I wanted to know what were some of the reasons why teens commit suicide. Looking up information about teen suicide taught me alot about how teens commited this type of crime. Choosing this topic showed me that people being pressured can cause them to commit suicide. As you read about teen suicide it will let you know that alot of people can't hold alot of pressure against them. Picking this topic told me that people from ages 14-24 commit suicide because they are over dosing on pills.

reflection paragraph

The most important facts that I have learned from my topic is that,people from ages 14-24 kill themselves by depression. The most surprising thing that i have learned was that teens will experience a period od saddnest when they are under pressure. I dont have anymore questions about my topic,because i already know what i wanted to know. Now i feel that most people should not be talikng and picking on other teens,because it would lead them to teen suicide which is not a good way to die.

If I could change the world

There has been many things that has been aggravating me since i was eleven years old. I wish that there was one thing that made it all disappear. If I could change the world I would get rid of cell phones,alcohol and drinking and driving.
The reason why I chose to get rid of cell phone is because,it takes children's focus off of work when they are in school. A second reason is because they're perverts out that likes talking to children and sexually harassing them. Last but not least teens send there information to people they don't know or have never seen before.
The second thing I would get rid of is alcohol,this reason is because it would be in the safety of children so when adults drink they want abuse their child which is child abuse. The second reason is because it will prevent people from getting in an accident when they are drinking and driving. It will also prevent adults from kidney failure form drinking to much alcohol.
The third reason was drinking and driving this is because people can lose there life do to people drinking and driving. There insurance bill will also go up. Drinking and driving will also make you run into something or someone.
Getting rid of cell phones,alcohol and drinking and driving will make our environment safe.

What I want to know about my topic

The reasons behind a teen's suicide or attempted suicide can be complex. Suicide is the third-leading cause of death for 15- to 24-year-olds, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), surpassed only by accidents and homicide.Suicide rates differ between boys and girls. Girls think about and attempt suicide about twice as often as boys, and tend to attempt suicide by overdosing on drugs or cutting themselves. Yet boys die by suicide about four times as often girls, perhaps because they tend to use more lethal methods, such as firearms, hanging, or jumping from heights.

What I already know about my topic

I already know that teen suicide is the third leading cause of death.I already know that girls mostly commit suicide by over dosing on pills when they are stressing over something.Forces on teens can lead them to teen suicide, because they have a large amount of pressure put on them from other teens.When teens commit suicide other teens around them think they are guilty because of there death.Most of the teens think that suicide is a way to solve things,but it's not you have to work things out and let time come by not end it yourself.I already know that most teens don't want to talk about what the situation was because most of them are afraid.
